Social Media Community Guidelines:
KHQ, Inc. and Cowles Montana Media Company has created several social media communities, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, to engage with you and encourage comments, critiques, questions, and suggestions. We ask that when you participate that you stay on topic, respect other people’s opinions, avoid profanity, offensive statements, false and illegal content, and anything else that might otherwise violate our standard terms and conditions.
We expect that users will not post content that falls into the following categories, and we reserve the right to remove postings that are:
- Abusive, Defamatory, or Obscene
- Fraudulent, Deceptive, or Misleading
- In Violation of any Intellectual Property Rights
- In Violation of any Law or Regulation
- Otherwise Offensive Posts, Comments or Material
We also reserve the right to ban any user from our social platforms without prior written notice or consent for violations of community policies.
Reporting a Violation:
KHQ, Inc. and Cowles Montana Media Company efforts to monitor comments as much as possible. If you spot a comment, you feel violates the above guidelines, please message us. Please include the post it was on, name of commenter, screengrab of comment to send to us.
Submission/Rights to Photos and Video:
We appreciate contributions of photos, video and other material from our followers and friends. By submitting this material, you grant KHQ, Inc. and Cowles Montana Media Company, and its affiliations, the right to use and distribute your material on air, streaming, digital or for any other platform, present or future, in perpetuity. You further affirm that you hold the copyright or otherwise have the right to authorize use of the material that you send.
Elections:
Election campaign materials or postings otherwise deemed inappropriate will be deleted by the page administrators.
